However, there are things you an do that are very simple, and securing your website is one of them. It's literally the least you could do to protect your company's online assets and protect your company from the liability of a cyber attack.
What does it look like?

Here are 3 reasons why you should implement SSL on your website today!
1. reason #1: All traffic is now encrypted
What does this mean? It means that anyone who visits your website is safe when browsing. Neither their connection to your website, or your connection to their computer can be halted, interfered with, or modified in anyway. Your website will always display the way you intend it to be displayed, and hackers cannot attempt to steal information from either side of the connection. This is so important that Google has decided to prioritize websites that are running SSL.
2. Reason #2: Customer information is exchanged safely
Let me guess, you've got contact forms on your website. Maybe you even sell things on your website. Chances are, there are ways for your visitors and potential customers to exchange information on your website. If you're not running SSL, this information is being exchanged freely, unencrypted on the open internet meaning it can be intercepted by hackers and malware. This is obviously terrible as identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in the world. You want to always make sure that it is perfectly safe for visitors to your site to exchange information and that they know that!
3. Reason #3: it's really easy, and google gives you a free boost!
It used to be a big pain to implement SSL on your website, but today it's much easier.
